Installation of the Hose Assembly

The length of the hose shall be varied according to the real situation. Take the standard regulations into consideration when the hose is lengthened or shortened under pressure. In order not to shorten the service lifespan of the hose due to additional loads, the installation of the assembly shall meet the following requirements:

1. Before installing the hose, check and remove the dirt out from the inside of the hose. It is not allowed to keep foreign impurities and burrs on the surface of hose fittings. It may cause leakage if there is flaw on the surface of the hose and its fittings.

2. Prevent twisting the hose (see Picture 1).

3. Besides the self weight of the hose, extra stress to the hose in working state shall be reduced as much as possible (see Picture 2).

4. When being installed, hoses shall be bent within the minimum bending radius (see Picture 3).

5. When installing the hose in a bending state, bend the hose from the position of 1.5d (d refers to the diameter of the hose); otherwise, it may cause twisting support (see Picture 4).

6. Take corresponding measures to protect the hose from external mechanical damages (see Picture 5).

7. Avoid additional load by using corresponding fittings or connection parts (see Picture 6).

8. The hose assembly may move or bend when on the same flat level, so avoid the twist of the hose by proper installation (see Picture 7).

9. When connecting the hose assembly with flexible parts, in order to avoid extra pulling force, the moving scope of the hose assembly shall not be less than the minimum bending radius (see Picture 8).

10. When clamping the hose, avoid the ways which may hinder the natural movement and the change of the hose length (see Picture 9).

11. Reduce the stress caused by vibration to lowest level and avoid the stress as much as possible. If the hose is connected with hard parts, use a suitable clamp near the connection part.

12. Protect the hose from heat radiation (for example, near the exhaust system); protect the hose with heat insulation cover or material when used at places with high temperature.
